Emma Charles is an
&
Actor + Musician
based in Los Angeles, CA
Since Emma was small, she would listen to The Sound of Music with her family and imagine herself as Maria, running through the hills of Austria. She would demand to watch Pocahontas every evening, and imagine she was racing down the river like the title character. Charles always dreamt of creating stories and characters ever since she was small, so naturally she started theater at age 5 in the production of “Once on this Island”. From there, Emma would develop her passion for acting, going on to perform in equity productions at Paul Newman’s famous Westport Country Playhouse. She continued her study for theater at various prestigious institutions including Stagedoor Manor and the University of Michigan summer acting program. Born and raised in Westport Connecticut, Emma went to Berklee College of Music to pursue her love for music (her other passion, you can find her original music on Spotify under the same name), and then subsequently moved to Los Angeles to make her dreams of pursuing music and acting full time a reality.
Emma is currently studying with teachers Adam Lazarre-White and Jonathan Stanley and is managed by MGMT Artists.
